ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Michelle

WHERE I COME FROM

I was born and raised in Southbridge, and I know what it means to grow up in a community that looks out for each other. I know what it means to take care of your neighbors, to make sure kids get opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have, to show up for people even when no one is watching. That's not politics — that's just how I was raised.

When my husband and I moved to East 23rd early in our marriage, I saw it firsthand: the gunfire, the fear, kids who had nowhere safe to go and no one fighting for them. I didn't wait for someone else to fix it. I started programs. I fed people. I knocked on doors. I showed up. That's what I've always done — state rep or not.

What I see in District 2 now breaks my heart. The drugs, the violence, the sex trafficking, families losing their homes to tax hikes, people who can't afford the "affordable housing" being built in their own neighborhood. And for all the years this district has had representation, the conditions have only gotten worse.

I'm not running for a title or a paycheck. I'm running because what we've been doing isn't working, and it's time for a fresh mind — someone who has actually been in this community, who has lived these struggles, and who genuinely cares about the people in it. That's me. And I'm not doing it alone — I'm running as a team with my husband, and we are ready to work.
